OLRC Vision/Misson

--Vision--

The Ongking Learning Resource Center strives to support and enrich the Saint Jude Catholic School (SJCS) curricula and provide students with the skills to seek and evaluate information, to develop a love of literature, to nurture a love of reading, and to become life-long learners.

--Mission-- 

As an integral part of the instructional program of Saint Jude Catholic School, the Center:

​

  • Selects and provides a range of interesting and inspiring library resources and other materials in a variety of formats;

  • Manages resources effectively and promoting their use actively;

  • Supports the School community’s information needs;

  • Supports reading and related activities for leisure and individual interest; and

  • Increases knowledge and appreciation of Chinese-Filipino cultural heritage via museum and archival works.
